Goals for 2013

In this post from last year, I presented a list of goals which  I aimed to achieve in 2012.  These were:

  1. Publish 2nd poetry collection - DONE!
  2. Publish 2nd short story collection - DONE!
  3. Publish Rowan - DONE! Plus the next in the Artisan-Sorcerer series, Bethany Rose, was published.
  4. Write one short story per month (minimum) - I wrote shorts during only 6 months.
  5. Write one poem per month (minimum) - I wrote poems during only 8 months.
  6. Publish a free ebook (possibly with Riverside Writers) - DONE!
  7. Complete 1st draft of Fabian - No, still underway.
  8. Add one new design to Spooky Cute Designs per month (minimum) - 8 months saw new designs, but there were more than one new design for some months.
In addition to the above, I re-released two ebook collections which had previously been published by Amazon Shorts; published a collection of short Artisan-Sorcerer stories, Intimations, and changed all the covers on the Artisan-Sorcerer novels.  I also undertook three job-related courses and began an NVQ Level 3 in Customer Care, and added a few more Hubs to my Hubpages site.

So, all in all, that's not too bad, hmm?

Onwards!

So here are my goals for 2013:

  1. Complete 1st draft of Fabian.
  2. Complete NVQ Level 3 in Customer Care.
  3. Publish a 2nd free ebook anthology (with Riverside Writers and maybe other writers too).
  4. Write one short story per month (minimum).
  5. Write one poem per month (minimum).
  6. Add one new design to Spooky Cute Designs per month (minimum).
  7. (...And last but not least), have more fun.
That last one, #7, is pretty important, actually....  I'll let you know how I get on, one year from now.

Meanwhile, I wish you all a healthy and increasingly prosperous New Year.  And a fun one, too.
